Page 128-130 (Correction of the Historical Errors About AL-WAHHABIYYAH)

bin Salloum Al-Faradi. The two are prominent opponents to the new mission. And Ibn Jarjis in particular exchanged letter with Najd scholars about the mission. Ibn Bassam said in his biography.      
This man is not stable in his faith, sometimes you see him following the pious predecessors and other time he did otherwise. He supported Daud bin Jarjis in his ideas of intercession and other aspects which are against montheism when he arrived in Najd; he praised him in poetic form.

"Muhammad bin Abdullaah bin Humaid who was borne in Unaizah in the year 1232 AH. was Mufti in the Holy Mosque of Makkah following the Hanbali school of religious thought. He died in Taif 1295 AH. Ibn Bassam, in the biography of this man said: " Due to his position in the  Uthman state which fought against the Salafi creed and because of his learning outside Najd with scholars devoted themselves to fight against the salafi  mission, he was influenced by these factors which made of him a foe to this mission and an ally to its enemies.

Mirbad bin Ahmad Al-Tamimi opposed this mission then traveled to Yemen in the year 1170 AH. He stayed there for about 10 months spreading rumours to the detriment of this mission. Then he left with pilgrims for Hijjaz. He is a staunch opponent of this mission as he fabricated lies and...

falsehood against him which influenced many people. Also he joined lands with the 'Uthman government against which new mission; it was only Imam Turki bin Abdullaah who resisted the Ottoman army and defeated them in totality and then peace and stability reign to the extent of implementing the shari'a. Ibn Bassam at the end of his biography stated that his hometown Huraimala then he ran away when he arrived Ragbah, Ali Al-Juraisi, the Emir of Ragbah arrestes hm and killed him int year 1171 AH.

There are scholars who did not confront the mission but they are co-operating with its opponents i.e Muhammad bin ALi bin Sallum Al-Farady who immigrated from Sudair  to Al-Zubayr in Iraq. Sympathizing with his master Muhammad bin Feruz. He died in Iraq , likewise his two Children Abdur-Razaq and abdil Lateef , who became famous scholar in Souq Al-Shioukh and Al-Basra.

Ibrahim bin Yusuf who studied in Damascus and held literary meeting in the Ummayd mosque was killed mysteriously in the year 1187 AH.

Rashid bin khunayn immigrated from kharj to Ahsa and died there without begetting any child. and many others who were mentioned in the letter of Sheikh  i.e. Ibn Isma'il, bin Rabi'ah, bin Mutlaq, bin Abdul Lateef, SAlih bin Abdullaah and others.

The Collections of the letters of Sheikh Muhammad which he compiled explaining about his mission, refuting falsehood and rumours against his person and the mission are about 51 published in one volume of 323 pages. It is a very useful volume for anyone who wants an insight into the man and his mission. Many opponents have declared their support after realizing their folly.
